Acta Fit FAQ

Last updated October 12, 2026. Jacob Bergam builds Acta Fit.

Answers below match the app as it ships today: a training log for iPhone and Apple Watch, coming to the App Store as a paid membership.

Does Acta Fit work on Apple Watch?

Yes. You log sets, rest, and edits from the Apple Watch.

Do my iPhone and Apple Watch stay in sync?

Yes. During a workout they stay in live sync. Sets, rest, and edits pass between them.

If the Watch link drops, does it come back on its own?

If the link drops while the Watch workout is still running, the Watch keeps trying to rejoin on its own until the workout ends. The live workout can still pass between your iPhone and Apple Watch while it does. If another workout has the Watch, Acta Fit waits and does not start a replacement session.

Does Acta Fit have built-in AI?

No. Acta Fit has no built-in AI. You connect your own MCP-capable assistant.

Which AI can I connect?

Any MCP-capable assistant, for example Claude or ChatGPT where supported.

Does Acta Fit support fitness racing and hybrid training?

Yes. Lifts, race stations like sled push, wall balls, and ski machine, and runs are in one log.

What is Acta Fit?

Acta Fit is a smart training app for iPhone and Apple Watch, and an Apple Watch workout log. During a workout the two stay in live sync. You log sets, rest, and edits from the Apple Watch. The phone keeps the plan, history, and personal records. Acta Fit has no built-in AI. You connect your own MCP-capable assistant. It is built for people training for fitness races and hybrid racing, and for strength work alongside that.

Who is it for?

Acta Fit is for people who train with an iPhone and an Apple Watch. That includes hybrid racing and fitness racing, triathlon, and ordinary strength training. You do not need a race on the calendar to use it.

What can I log from my Apple Watch?

You log sets, rest, and edits from the Apple Watch. That includes the lift or the race station. Race stations include sled push, wall balls, farmers carry, ski machine, and rowing. The phone holds the plan, the history, and personal records. Classic strength progressions, hybrid-race prep, and conditioning blocks are included. Runs and other cardio come in from Apple Health, with route and heart rate.

How does the AI connection work?

Acta Fit has no built-in AI. You connect your own MCP-capable assistant. The connection uses MCP, an open way for an assistant to read a service you approve. It works with any MCP-capable assistant, for example Claude or ChatGPT where supported. Not every plan or mode of those assistants offers connectors. After you turn AI sync on and approve access, the assistant can see your history, training maxes, and current plan. You review any change before it lands on your plan. AI sync is off by default, and turning it off deletes the uploaded copy.

Where does my training data live?

By default it stays on your devices and in your private iCloud, which Acta Fit cannot read. Apple Health is read and written only with your permission. AI sync is the opt-in path that copies history to our server so a connected assistant can read it. Analytics never include workout contents. Deleting your account removes the server copy.

How do I get it?

Acta Fit is coming to the App Store. Leave an email and we will tell you when it is live. First and last name are optional, there is no account to create on this page, and there is no newsletter.

Is Acta Fit affiliated with any race series?

No. Acta Fit is not affiliated with any race series. It is an independent training log and is not affiliated with any event organizer.

What does it cost?

Acta Fit is a membership billed through the App Store: $19.99 a month with the first two weeks free, or $179.99 a year. Nothing on this site asks for a card.

How do I get support or delete my data?

Email support@actafitapp.com. In the app, Account → Delete Account removes the account and the server-side copy, including AI sync. On-device and iCloud workout data is yours and is not removed by that.

Does Acta Fit work with ChatGPT or Claude?

Any MCP-capable assistant, for example Claude or ChatGPT where supported. Not every plan or mode of those assistants offers connectors, and Acta Fit is not an official integration from those companies. You approve access, and you review any change before it lands.

Do I need to make an account?

Not to leave your email here. The app asks you to sign in with Apple when you first open it; your account ties your membership, device sync and any AI assistant you connect together.

Does it sync with Apple Health?

Yes. Acta Fit can read and write Apple Health with your permission.

Does it log runs?

Yes. Runs and other cardio come in from Apple Health, with route and heart rate, and sit in the same history as your lifts.

Is there an Android or Garmin version?

No. Acta Fit is iPhone and Apple Watch only.
